Hi,
I have migrated my database from my current host in preparation for moving the entire website within a few weeks. When I signed up for a free account at X10 I used my domain name but the resulting account name was shortened to 8 letters.
When I today created a database to import my existing data in to, this 8-letter account name is used as a prefix for the database name. My current database name is the full domain name. Basically on X10 is mywebsit_com whereas the original DB name is mywebsite_com. This is bound to affect all scripts that access the DB unless I update them.
My question is simply this; After upgrading, will I have the option to change the prefix so that I get an identical DB name on X10? Alternatively, if the DB name prefix is locked to the account name, will I be able to request that my paid account name reflects the domain name?
Thanks
