Is it possible to change the original subdomain you picked when originally signing up? If so please tell me :happysad:

Yes, go to Account->Modify Account menu here on forum, and you can change it there.

First of all, you need your domain to be pointing to x10hosting nameservers, which are ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com

If it's correct, just wait 24-48 hours and you'll have your site working.

Are you trying to change it to another subdomain ?? Like me1.x10hosting.com or are you wanting to use an actually domain you own? Like Mydomain.com?

If its the first one, it should of worked. You can try it again ... if it doesn't work ... post back here and ask for an Account Manager to assist.

If its the 2nd one, you must own the domain name, then log into the domain registrar and change the Nameservers ( as was stated above ) to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com

Then go into Cpanel and do either Parked ( where its the domain for your main site ) or AddOn ( which would be like a folder on your site.

bump. Really do need help :(

Please don't bump your thread ( especially only an hour after you posted ) ... the thread doesn't move that quickly.

Staff will assist when there are staff available to assist you.

i think he modified his account to change the subdomain to his own domain, so i think he wants his subdomain back, personally, i say there's no real reason to delete your subdomain, i mean i even use it sometimes when people can't access my domain and they need to fix something for me

Right, I want to change my original subdomain. So I went into modify account and changed it. The website sais that it updated my account successfuly but the subdomain wouldn't work. Also, the cPanel said the subdomain which I wanted but when i typed the adress in my bar it just said waiting for heat3d.x10hosting.com. Then firefox came up with the error message saying "the connection was reset".

EDIT: My account has been suspended?
