Changing colour of text

I have phpbb with a different style than the default but the text ad is there but cannot be seen is there a way of changing its colour or using a small banner ad in its place

Try using <span> with styles
example
<span style="color:white;">TEXT AD HERE</span>

I believe that might work.

I have tried both of these with no luck also tried removing ><script type="text/javascript" and the text came out white but not the correct text link
any other ideas please help my knowledge is limited in these areas

no joy still comes out blue

ps i have put the link in the footer until sorted
any more ideas can I breakout at the top of the screen so i have a white line there
