Hey guys, im still new at this. I want to change my domain name. so i registered a new domain at smartdots.com : coffeebook.tc.net. Then i went to http://x10hosting.com/account and then modified my domain name there to be: http://coffeebook.tc.net, but when i try to acces my cpanel i get the following eror:
The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://coffeebook.tc.net:2082/
The following error was encountered:
Unable to determine IP address from host name for coffeebook.tc.net
The dnsserver returned:
Name Error: The domain name does not exist.
This means that:
The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.

No, i didnt change my domain server. I am abit confused now, does this mean that every1 wanting to access my website must add your dns server to their list of dns servers?

no, the name servers for your domain (not for your PC)

think of it like registering your business in a telephone directory but you can only be in one.
