http://www.dtv4pc.net/

So i was having a look at this site and am not sure if they are trustworthy. What do you guys think? I noticed that when you try to nav aways (atlest on the purchasing page) the have a bot chat apear and it authorizes 20% off wich i find really unprofessional and have seen in other places as well.

So what do you guys think? Its like 60 buks for the complete package although theyve neglected to mention that the speed of it would be equal to your internet speed wich would make it difficult for allot of people to benifit from it anyways.

What do you guys think, cuz if they are for real without any catches (besides download speed since mine is preaty fast) id probably give em a shot.

These days its hard to know if online stores are ligit you know.

After looking at that, I'm pretty sure that it's some sort of service like Livestream.com that broadcasts live video through the internet. Basically, the company owning the website would be providing all the live broadcasting from their servers, and we would just be streaming it off their website.

What kinda quality would you be expecting, or what kinda controll, options and variey?

Things like Parental controll, transfer rate, quality are sorta important dont wana pay 60 bucks to watch barney in flv quality. Although there are allot of kids shows i dont mind waching. Zabumafu... although i havent watched that in like a couple years, that show still ownz. Same with arthur, when nothings on Tv i love to kill time wathcing those good old clasiccs... and im not old enough to really call them clasics... im 16 and i somehow have the mentality of a 60 year old.

(By the barney example i dont mean i wana watch adult shows, and i dont consider regular shows adult, i consider adult adult shows adult, you know... adult :naughty: )

I'm pretty sure there would be an adjustment for quality, seeing as it's impossible to account for all internet users with one quality selection.

As for the availability of the programming, they said that you get over a thousand channels, so I'm assuming that you'll get a good mix of shows, anywhere between meant-for-infant shows to X-rated movies.

I've seen these before, IPTV solution. I'm actually already streaming some TV over my DSL connection here in HD as it is, but this does sound cool. As per what quality of content the push out, I wouldn't know. Parental controls would be another thing to ask about though, I don't know.

perhaps this will be of some help...
a simple whois search shows the company owning the domain is 3B SOFTWARE INC.
taking that and going to the BBB, you can search about them - here''s the pertinent information i came up with:
BBB Rating: C-
# Reasons for this rating include:Number of complaints filed against business

Customer Complaint History
The company's size, volume of business and number of transactions may have a bearing on the number of complaints received by the BBB. The complaints filed against a company may not be as important as the type of complaints, and how the company has handled them. The BBB generally does not pass judgment on the validity of complaints filed.

Number of complaints processed by the BBB
since the firm's BBB file was opened in February 2007: 30
in the last 12 months: 28

Complaints Concerned:
Advertising Issues (3 complaints)
3 Resolved
Service Issues (4 complaints)
4 Resolved
Customer Service Issues (1 complaints)
1 Resolved
Delivery Issues (2 complaints)
2 Resolved
Refund Practices (13 complaints)
13 Resolved
Product Quality (7 complaints)
7 Resolved

I'd say be cautious, but if they offer a refund they look legitimate enough.
Edit:
Actually, your best bet is google.

Here's something that it pulled up for me: http://able2know.org/topic/100382-1
