cheapest domains

i am currently wondering were the cheapest domains are sold. i dont no much about it but all i want is a cheap domain for the hosting i have on x10

.com .net and .org are now at 2.99 in Yahoo!

Yeah I get all my domains from yahoo also ;) you cant beat the deal

Just bought one there for 5 years very cheap.

GoDaddy.com is only $8.95 and you get a free email address and excellent support. I like it :) .

I thougt the yahoo domain are cheap only if you buy hosting with them.

Alejandro, did you buy hosting with them or just the domain name? Was there any problem with your domain being locked by yahoo? Hmm... just ceing careful

No hosting is need, my domains work fine that I bought from yahoo never been locked.

lol he hasnt understood yet that 3 is less than 9 :D

If you get a domain.. and you have another hosting...
who is responsilbe for the content on that site?

The domain?

I went with GoDaddy.com rather than Yahoo because I wanted the email account and it comes with loads of other crap I will probably never use.

I realize 3 < 9. Thank you :bigok:

EDIT: @tikloos: I'd say the host is ultimately responsible. The domain name provider can't do crap about what the user has on their site, other than cancel the domain. The host has the power to delete it. More power = more responsibility.
