Chopin Server Speed

The Chopin server seems to be extremely slow recently. It takes a good 20 seconds to load a WordPress page (I have FiOS so the speed on my end should not be a problem) and pinging chopin seems to time out more often than not. Pinging my domain name seems to be even worse, out of 37 pings only one request didn't time out.

Please advise.

Hello,

Due to the nature of free hosting server speeds are very dynamic. You need to remember that you are getting the service for absolutely nothing. If you're that concerned about speed, I'd suggest an upgrade to premium where there are significantly fewer accounts per sever, resulting in a greater allocation of resources per account.

Thank you, that'd definitely something I've been considering. Is there an example of a premium account that I could see? I'd like to compare the loading speeds between them.

Sorry that there's not much more we can do. I'm sure you'll understand that due to the wide variety of sites and users that sometimes things can get a little sluggish.
