Dear x10hosting,

I am hosting my domain name from netfirms.ca, however wanted to host my actual webpage from your site. I have the forwarding and url cloaking set up from the netfirms.ca site using CNAMEs, however when you type in the following URL:

www.syndromestutorials.com

it seems to give some kind of directory listing, rather than my actual
website, which is located at:

www.synstutorials.pcriot.com. Is there a way to fix this?

alright i added:

syndromestutorials.com

as a parked domain, and have it forwarding to:

http://www.synstutorials.pcriot.com

I will give it an hour or so to take effect, and see if it fixed it :)
Edit:
alright its been over an hour now, and the problem is still the same. any more ideas i can try?
Edit:
anyone? :)

Has to be something wrong with the redirection, how do you have it setup?

If I get this I think you must make a redirect to your homepage so the listings don't show.

If you want to put it back try using an A record to the IP address of your subdomain instead of a CNAME

Can you post a screen shot of your DNS page?

absolutely :)

The first line is my forwarding to my website here... and the second line is the A-Name that I set up.

Hmm, that can't be setup right. It's going to that IP but it's not passing the domain info with it. That doesn't look like an A entry to me though, it looks like it's just forwarded.

I'm really not sure, you can try asking the registrar for help otherwise I'd say you have to point the name servers here.
