codeigniter and x10hosting

hi guys im just new in x10hosting and it is my first time making my site online with this hosting site. (anyway thank you for this service. )

im just having a little a problem with configuring the site...

$config['base_url'] = 'http://www.republicinsti.x10.bz/';

---->>>>I already made my base URL to this given url by x10hosting but it seems that my page is not redirecting to my home page...can someone help me in this..
by the way i didnt use any database so i think i dont have to config the database.php but still i do just to be sure
here is my configuration in the database.php.

$db['default']['hostname'] = 'republicinsti.x10.bz';
$db['default']['username'] = 'repub76';
$db['default']['password'] = '*********';
$db['default']['database'] = '';
$db['default']['dbdriver'] = 'mysql';


your help will be much appreciated.... thanks in advance.

hi, your configuration is not ok

here is the right one :

$db['default']['hostname'] = 'localhost';
$db['default']['username'] = 'repub76_xxxxxxxx';
$db['default']['password'] = '*********';
$db['default']['database'] = 'repub76_xxxxxxxx';
$db['default']['dbdriver'] = 'mysql';




note:
for database and username you've to generate them using MySQL® Database Wizard in your cpanel
