Hello,
I am using Outlook 2007 and I am setting up my email. When I do the test settings it shows it logs in okay but then fails to send the test message. I closed it and tried sending an email so I could a full error message and it says:
"Sending error reported error 0x800CC78 Cannot Send the message. Verify the email address in your account properties. The server responded: 550 Access Denied - Invalid HELO name (See RFC2821.4.1.1.1)"
The config online says to use port 487 but that is blocked so I used the port my provider said to use (I use it for my other emails which are through a different host). I tried both the SSL option and the non SSL.
Any thoughts, anyone?
Thanks a lot.
