* File Storage: Accounts are not to be used for file storage, your account will be permenantly suspended if found to be breaking this rule. Downloads are only allowed on your x10Hosting account if they have to do directly with your website. e.g. you developed custom software and are selling it or giving it away. Accounts may not be used for mirrors, game file hosting, or any other type of file hosting not specified here.

Im confused, I make computer games and my website is for showing the games I developed, I was wondering if it broke the ToS if I uploaded the game files to my website even if it has to directly with my website.

NOTE: I didn't do any uploading of game files to my website so please dont think that I asked after I already did it. This is just a question, if it does break the TOS then I'll just stick with dropbox for game file hosting.

If you are going to show them on your site, fine.

If you are going to show them from another site, not fine.

If you are going to keep them as a backup for your computer, not fine.

If you are going to just let your friends download the files, not fine.

x10hosting is not a data warehouse for files used other places. If the games, images, pdfs, etc are parts of your public website, fine (subject to some size limitations and of course copyright issues).

And, as always, keep your own backup for everything on your site.
