I am currently in the process or setting up a site that displays are bans on my Minecraft server. The plugin is called LineBans and their web interface that is on the local server was successfully connected to the database as it is local, as for my Minecraft server, I need the plugin to connect to the web server's SQL database. I tried for IP my subdomain .x10host.com and it that seems not work. Any thoughts?

due to the large security risk - x10hosting's free-hosting accounts do not have remote MySQL database access (both incoming and outgoing from the account) - x10hosting's firewall blocks all remote database access
