should be able to use the one available at invisionpower.com they might have one for IPB 2.3 i think the one i saw was 2.2 though in either case it should be simple to convert then upgrade to 2.3

it says it will work for a lot of different forum providers

just tested it on a fresh install of IPB 2.3 converting phpbb to IPB 2.3 works perfect

hey redlack it tells me in instructions:

This document assumes that you already have an Invision Power Board installed and working. You do not need to use the same MySQL database for Invision Power Board that your existing board uses - although you may if you wish.

but i have my vB board running.

im confused =/

do you already have the IPB 2.3 forum software ready to install?? becuase you have to pay for it (contact me privately if you don't...) what package do you have if you have ad-free the create a new mysql database if you can then install the stuff to a different directory then your forum but ya, you'll need to have IPB 2.x.x installed to convert

this converter only modifies the files on your IPB board meaning that if you do not like the IPB board you can go back to your old one...
