Why was the CPanel custom error pages option removed?

That doesn't make much sense.

If you are Advanced / Corporate and you make your own pages, then you would be required ( I thought ) to post the advertisements on those pages as well.

So, x10 would be getting the $ anyway.

You can still use them, make (or edit a file) called .htaccess in your home directory. Add the following line for 404

ErrorDocument 404 /page.html #relative to your www directory. Make sure ads are on here

We took them over on purpose. Correct about the extra revenue. When we move servers people will not be able to override them with .htaccess anymore.
