cPanel Log in Problem

I am having problems logging into my cPanel account. I type in my user name and pass word correct and it says its wrong. Then I reset my password and it didn't send me the e-mail with the reset password. Can someone please help me resolve this issue. Please and thank you.

Hopefully you didn't delete your .htaccess file the resides in your home directory or any folder related to the system while managing the web space.
if u suspect doing that contact the adminstration.
