Any suggestions for a relative newbie ?
This is a known issue with the [ x10Hosting Basic ] control panel - where websites and domains no longer seem to be adding properly. Until this is fixed, you can try the standard [ cPanel x3 ] theme by clicking on the "Switch Theme" button at the top of the screen (after you log-in) then select the [ cPanel x3 ] theme

You're seeing the x10Hosting custom "Basic" cPanel theme. You have two choices: either create a new custom site and select the files and such you've already uploaded to the site, or switch to the cPanel x3 theme using the "switch theme" option.

It's not a bug, by the way: a "website" is a named collection of files, much like a "project" in an integrated development environment (IDE). You have the files, but you haven't added them to a "website" collection yet. The x3 theme isn't built around named websites.

Thank's to you both, switching to the x3 theme worked fine. Another lesson learned.
