cpanel theme won't change back.

Hi,
i was using cPanel x3 (cpanel 11 look-alike) tried to change to a different theme,
but now i can not change back also my basic and paper lantern are the same theme.
i tried to go back to the cPanel x3 theme and it is not there anymore.

Can an admin please change it back to cPanel x3 (cpanel 11)

"Cpanel" been deprecating old themes and paper_lantern will be the default for now so it is between this and the basic theme is the selection.

thanks for the reply, but my basic theme and paper_lantern is the same regardless of the setting i choose.

cPanel x3 (cpanel 11) option is gone as the cpanel version upgrade. your only option is basic theme and paper_lantern.

As stated in my last reply to your comment, "basic theme and paper_lantern is the same regardless of the setting i choose." (nothing changes)

so either there is a problem or that is the 1 and ONLY theme available now.

Sorry for missunderstanding, their cpanel have already bomber with problems since paper_lantern upgrade. In my case while ago my cpanel theme is the x3 without icons and not all panel is functioning. If you wait it takes a months before it's fix which I did or wait for much higher technical officer to notice the problem. Problems I encounter so problem so far SSH access been enabled (which is now disable), server behavior is not normal (database error, cpanel connection missing api, almost problems reported on the forum I encounter some of them).

I was using the x3 theme also with no icons but everything else worked for me.
(at least for what i used it all worked, just no icons)
so i thought id try to refresh it or switch from the x3 theme to a different one,
then try switching back to x3 but it did not work and i cant get x3 back.

I would not mind waiting if they will restore it to my x3 theme,
As i prefer using x3 that's what i have at a different host,
so i am used to it.
i hate trying to do things in different Cpanels themes.

Hi, interesting read, but the link is cpanel.com not x10hosting.com
it would all depend if x10 is changing the cpanel or not.
which makes no sense on free accounts if they have the x3 theme already.
that's an extra cost they wont recover unless they get it back from paid users.
but who know have to wait and see.

id still prefer the x3 theme, its hard to get used to anything newer.
