cPanel up, site down?

I cannot access my website (cynic.x10hosting.com) but I CAN access cPanel. Would the cleanup cause this or is there some other problem causing this?

Yes.. that is what my question was about. I didn't know if it was possible for cPanel to be up and not the rest of my site. I've read Corey's thread concerning the cleanup, which made me even more curious as to how I could be "50% online" like this (actually some other % because FTP is working too).

If I'm missing something else please tell me.

NedreN had clearly stated that they have shut the "HTTP" & some other server...So that is the reason behind that!

I believe I've read that, but still, how is my cPanel working? It's not a BAD thing that it is working, it's just that I've never heard or seen it happen before. I'm just curious.

cpanel is uses a different web "hosting" thing than apache you could say, it hosts itself threw port 2082 instead of apache which goes threw the default web port of 80

Ah, gotchya. I should've figured that out by the :2802 needed to access cPanel haha. Thanks for clearing that up .

They are each a different service on the server, like Jake said.
