Cpu hogging and system suspension

I was changing templates to my wordpress system 5 mins ago and then suddenly my blog got suspended Reason: Prolonged high resource usage. Account will be unsuspended automatically in 15 minutes.

I mean, just for changing some templates ?!...Will this host be able to withstand 100-200 members a day or will it get suspended minute after minute ?

How heavy is the load of a wordpress template ? Should I really go for a paid host ?

I know the reason I was suspended...I'm just asking if the wordpress is really such a resource hog for your servers, If I should move or not.

The high resource usage might be due to additional mods in wordpress. Find out what is causing the high resource usage and disable it.

i used to be able to use the automatic databse backup system on my website before the absolut problem and now i cannot because i keep getting suspended evrytime i try.

We're still tweaking the high resource usage script, I just brought another server online today to help even out the ad-free accounts. I should have it secured and ready for accounts by tomorrow, over the next few days everything should see some improvement with performance and accounts will be able to have a larger share of the server resources due to this.

It happens on all servers. Ad-enhanced is a little more lenient since there are less accounts.
