Cron Jobs and Password Protect Directories on Absolut not working

I'm having trouble setting up cron jobs and password protected directories in cPanel ever since the migration from Starka to Absolut. These two things have been working for me on Starka, but on Absolut, the cron jobs do not run and I am unable to access the password protected directories after setting them up (browser prompts for username/password, but they do not work and the browser prompts again). Can this be verified and resolved? Thanks.
