Data error in /public_html and shows different disk space usage

I'm not sure if this has been covered as i checked the server alerts (i can connect to server from ftp) but i noticed that in cpanel the disk space usage shows as 887.02mb but in file manager it shows only 2.43mb in /public_html (which is where all the files are).
Also, when i try to go into /public_html it shows 'Data error'. I had this problem a few days back in cache folder.

I will request a staff member look into this for you. My CPanel on Lotus appears to be working correctly.
