I had a large quantity of pictures and things that I was holding here in a folder that I had hooked up to an FTP account but today when I logged on the entire folder was missing. If you need or want me to remove them, I will, but I would like an opportunity to remove them myself before they are deleted. If it would be possible for that folder to be recovered so that I can clean it out, that would be grand. Thank you for your time.

Is it the stuff in public_HTML1 in the root of your account? Cause we don't go around erasing files at random unless the account is in violation of the File Hosting or other TOS clauses.

And assuming we're erasing for that, the account gets permanently suspended first so they can't do it again - I don't see a suspension on your account so I don't think someone went erasing at random.

No, the folder was at my root. It was called Shared (I thought it an appropriate name seeing as how it was FTP.) Somehow the entire folder is gone. It had pictures from mine and my wife's phones from the past 6 months that I was planning on putting a website for my family who is rather far away to look at.

Yes, I will admit that I had a good amount of other things in that Shared folder that might have in some way violated the TOS because they were not at all related to my website, but like you said, I am not banned or suspended and thus my folder is not missing because of this. All of the other stuff is completely unimportant, but I have not yet been able to find a place where I had backed up all of the photos which were here on x10Hosting. If there is anything you could do to look further into the matter, I would greatly appreciate it. (As would my wife.) Thank you very much.

Sadly there's not much more I can do; I don't see the folder on the server, which means it's not in a spot that could be recovered :(

Wow... Sad day. There goes the majority of the pictures of our 7-month-old daughter. Lesson learned. I'll be making sure to backup all files that I keep here on x10. (Pretty stupid of me not to in the first place.) Thank a lot for your incredibly fast replies, and here's hoppin' that that folder pops up in the future.
