i am using smf and getting this error please check and reply

There has been a problem with the database!

This is a notice email to let you know that SMF could not connect to the database, contact your host if this continues

i am getting this error report by email from smf
and getting it from the bigening means from a weak

and the site is not opening now i am getting this error now
