DB acces in PHP based systems, like phpNuke

Hi, I´m having problems trying to setup the configuration needed to run a PHP system with the Database.
I´ve created the database and associated a username and password to acces to that DB, but I don´t know how to setup the DBhost.... It´s not writted anywhere. I´ve tried with both addreses listed on the "Remote MySQL" section of the cPanel (specially the int.absolut.x10hosting.com)... but the system is always throwing errors about couldn´t acces to the DB.
I´ve even created a new user and pass in order to check if I made a typo error.
I´m out of ideas right now...

The host should be "localhost"

If some admin could look into it, after so many tryings the system had blocked the acces to the hosts and I cannot acces the phpMyAdmin and everything SQL related.

MySQL is down. Staff have been informed, it should be back soon
