Well, we're having another DDoS attack on two of our servers. Both servers have been placed behind an extra hardware firewall. There might be some slowness while the firewalls analyze the traffic and learn what to block. Everything should be back to normal within the next 15 minutes or so.

Thanks for the heads-up. I was working on some new code, and thought I broke the server! Haha. Darn botnets!

Yeah, about 10 minutes ago I kept getting "Database Error" and I was wondering... What the hell..? Haha.

Well, DDoS attacks are easy to fix, so that's a good thing. :p

DDOS attacks are from the outside people trying to hack in right? So with the firewalls and hardware firewalls, why are they so keen on x10's servers?

Maybe because we're the best :D

Thanks Corey. These "problems" only increases our confidence with x10! because we know what we have and it's being tested and proven -like scars.

How do the firewalls know what traffic is genuine vs. what is not?
