The default index is the index page that comes with all new accounts. When Staff review accounts and see the account is older than 7 days and it still has x10hosting's Default Index page the account gets suspended. This is to ensure us that the account is being used and not just sitting there idle and unused.

In the public_html folder there is a file called index.html You will notice that when you open it with an editor in the file manager it will have x10hosting.com content. You need to delete that file and replace it with an index.html you have created.

You can use a CMS from fantastico if you are unsure on how to create and index page.

Ok, does it have to have some substance and do i have to update it from time to time? Im not really gonna use x10hosting for websites, mostly for mySQL databases.

You are on the Corporate ad plan. That means the site must have the "Corporate" ad as well as an index. Might i ask why you are just using the MySQL databases?

Well, i have a website somewhere else. Also, im not into web-designing too much. Im a programmer and been programming client side only, so i decided to get my feet wet with databases and client-side stuff.

Your website should have reasonable substance at least on the index page, sites with "under construction" tend to be scowled at.. Talk about yourself, your programming skills and interests.. anything :)

As mysql is only accessible within the x10 network, you'd probably at least want some web pages to allow you to see the data you are storing, updated it etc..
