Hello, I have an account and I would like to delete it then start again with a fresh account. Could anyone please reset my account or delete it for me?

cPanel login username: thefunof

I have been told that I have to set the layout to basic, then click account settings. I can do neither. Please help me.

There is a major overhaul going on where we're moving away from cPanel to directadmin for free hosting, see: https://x10hosting.com/community/threads/cpanel-migration-to-directadmin.206877/

Right now with all the work going on you will not be able to delete the account. It looks like your account has been moved to a new server that is setup with directadmin already, so there will be no basic option available and I'm guessing account settings is currently not properly integrated with the new panel.

I have no option to delete the account for you at this time and I suspect that you would not be able to create a new until all work with switching to directadmin is completed. Why are you wanting to start fresh, normally you could achieve that by deleting contents of public_html as well as removing databases and email addresses as needed?

Thank you, but I would like to delete my account fully. When would I be able to do that?

Also I haven't got anything in the public_html folder and I only want to reset my account because I can't get a free domain.

I don't know with certainty when everything will be completed, but last I heard was an estimate that said by end of next week for all migrations, and I'd guess maybe a couple more days after that before all functions are back up.

Though, as far as I can tell the main domain of your account is one of our free domains, were you looking to change it?

Umm, yes I was. Can someone help me do that after the migrations?
If you just want to change the name of the free domain it seems DirectAdmin allows you to from the panel. I’ll see if I post screenshots soon from a friend of mines.

UPDATE: Never mind. Even though it is there you’ll get an error as you don’t control or have privilege over the domain itself.

Once everything is done we should be able to help you change the domain. Though I will have say that even with cPanel that failed (the change went through but reverted back after a while) for some time before the switch, it was discussed with another staffmember so I hope they sort that out as well as he agreed it should be something we were able to do.

If nothing else I should at least be able to terminate the existing account allowing you to sign up for a new one.

Thank you! I actually had been hoping to see some images soon so I would know what to do.
