hello
this morning i deleted a database which i believed was no longer in use since i had transferred the relevant files to another server. i was mistaken! the wordpress website i thought i had completely moved was still linked to said database and stopped functioning when i deleted it
in attempting the get the wordpress site functioning again i recreated a mysql database with the same name, user and pass as the previous one: eq3_wp844.
unfortunately this was not sufficient to fix the problem. i have since altered the config.php on the wordpress website to link to a database on that server but it appears i have lost a large chunk of info from the website (i haven't used wordpress much before so i'm guessing that alot of the work i had done was stored in the mysql database i deleted)
basically; is there any chance of recovering this database and it's contents?
warmest wishes
