Demo's don't seem to work 4 me

Hi,

I'm trying the Softaculous and Fantastico demos but nothing seems to work. All attempts end in a database connection problem.

What am I doing wrong?

Could you post the exact error you're getting? There is no configurable options with either of them to my knowledge, so it may be a CPanel error.

Log in, click on Softaculous under Software/Servicesclick on Software Demos (triangle) then click on (for instance)
Zikula => Problem in Database Connection
Joomla => Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL
Drupal => Site off-line
PHPWiki => MySQL error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
