Difficulties Getting Started

I have tried reading related threads, but they don't hit my situation. I am a newly registered member. My login for both my web hosting and for the forums is twinter. My domain was to be eduk8rwinter and was supposed to be one that was AD FREE.

I have received confirming emails for my FORUM login, but nothing for my hosting. When attempting to login, I get a request for my user name from my cPanel. I'm sorry, but I don't know for sure what this is. I have tried giving the two names above, but they do not work.

I am using the latest version of Firefox. My actual name is Tim Winter and I just registered this evening. I tried the web-based IRC and waited a very long time, but I didn't get any response. It appeared there were other people there, but I saw no conversation.

I'm not really sure where to go from here. Can you advise, please?

........Okay, an update. I tried to re=register a couple of more times. After the third try, I actually reached a page that said an email would be sent. I had been checking my email quite a bit. This time, I received three confirming emails. I followed what appeared to be the original one and tried to confirm. It inidicated that I was in a queu and that this would take about 6 minutes. A lot of time has passed, but it IS late at night, so I will check again in the morning. Hopefully we are starting to get on track.

If you have signed up for multiple accounts a cron script will pick this up and suspend all the accounts.

Please request termination of the accounts that you no longer want in the "Upgrades/downgrades" forum to avoid this from happening.

When you sign in to your account hosting panel(www.x10hosting.com) for the first time it will ask you to link your cPanel account to your hosting account. The required details should be in your confirmation e-mail.
