How To Backup Your Free Hosting Website at x10Hosting

Step One:
Login to cPanel
Go to File Manager
Go to your public_html directory
Select all files
Compress all files into a zip archive using the compress icon
Close the popup window
Select the zip archive you just created and download it

Step Two:
Go to phpMyAdmin in cPanel
Click on export tab
On the left select Export / Select All
Scroll down to bottom
You will see "Save As File".
You can rename this file if you wish
I suggest leaving compression set to "None"
Click on the Go button on the right

As far as I know there are no current pending plans for migration as staff has some technical issues to work out first. I suggest you monitor x10Hosting Status for updates.

If you followed the guidelines I posted you will have a complete backup. Also, the disc usage figures are not always completely accurate.
