directory help

i deleted all of the files in root ftp server by accident, i uploaded my website to the server but it says it cannot be found when i goto jackni.x10hosting.com, do i have to put my index.php in another folder? what is it? because i forgot all the names

You should have a folder called "www" and a folder called "public_html" Put your index.html or index.php files into the public_html folder. If you deleted it you must create it. If you deleted all the folders in the root directory your best bet would be to have an admin reset your account.

NEVER DELETE ANYTHING YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IT'S FOR!!
