directory to which files should be ftp'd

Help, I am confused!
I have been uploading files to what I thought was my ftp directory, but nothing is showing up online so I need to verify that I am sending files to the correct place. Please advise!

www.wymanindexing.x10.mx/home/pilarw20/public_html
OR
www.wymanindexing.x10.mx/home/pilarw20/public_html/pilarw

???
Or some place else altogether?
I'm using Filezilla, btw.

The files you upload to www.wymanindexing.x10.mx/home/pilarw20/public_html should show up online at www.wymanindexing.x10.mx

and the files you upload to www.wymanindexing.x10.mx/home/pilarw20/public_html/pilarw should show up online at www.wymanindexing.x10.mx/pilarw

Should I wait a while for the files to show up this first time?
