Disk space full, can't find the large files.

I find I cannot run WordPress updates, or upload graphics, because I have a "Disk Space Full" error. I;ve been digging through File Manager, but cannot find and bulky files to remove. I does not look like I have backup files taking up space.
I thought if I could search all files at once and sort them by size, I could locate the bulky files to remove. Apparently, for that, I need permission to run Terminal.
Is this an access that I could be granted?
Or would it be easier to request more disk space?

I can see you are using most of your disk space for your main WP site. Since this usage is true to the domain and your site I have increased your storage space for you.
