Disk Space still exceeded after deleting files

From the Disk space usage I get the error: This account has exceeded its disk quota.

I deleted a lot to get under the 1,024 MB limit, but its says I have 1,084 MB in "Other usage" that I can't access to delete. The directory sort below says I'm using 902 MB total, but I still can't FTP any new files. I can copy new files using C Panel file manager, but this won't work since the web site users ftp small files.

Any help on what I can do to resolve this I would be very grateful.
