Resolved DMARC setting

I've been trying to add DMARC, is it possible at the free tier?

Seems like there is an option under DNS Settings > ADD Record > TXT > TXT Record Type DMARC

but it won't work even after testing different values for names like:

_dmarc
_dmarc.domain
_dmarc.domain.com.

(left to propagate for at least 48 hours of course)

Any thoughts?

propagation can take 1 to 72 hours for completion.
ive seen times where it took even longer.
also propagation is something thats beyond a hosts control.
so a host cannot speed up the process.
just thought id mention it.

I don't even have that option on x12. My guess is that it's not enabled.

Requesting an admin look into it.

I was able to find a solution.

Seems like DirectAdmin doesn't show all DNS settings at once and you need to type in the search field the domain you are trying to edit. Then, I just had to add a _dmarc record with the default values and it worked!
