I have personally just bought a domain name and am moving from one host to here.

However. When I log into my account panel it tells me dns is down.

When I go to my account on godaddy i have configured my dns to point here.

However going to my cpanel when i click on addon domain and do it that way it works but that isn't wat i want.

When I go to parked domain it doesn't work at all. it gives me an error.

Adding Parked Domain There was a problem creating the parked domain. Show Details
Error from park wrapper: thefcacademy.com is already configured.

I have changed everything needed and it is still doing that.

any ideas?

I'm on corporate hosting.

Trying that now.

Maybe it will work. hopefully
Edit:
My Main problem is this.

When I go into the account panel it doesn't show up as a parked domain.

however when i go to subdomains or anything it still shows me the option to add one to thefcacademy.com.

it's weird.
Edit:
Ummmm yeah.

I just checked.

And it is telling me the name servers are down.

anyone else having a problem?

The DNS is on another server. They will show as being down in the cPanel. Please pay no attention to that.

Log into account management panel and change the domain name there to the new domain. If that is going to be the main domain. If not let me know and i will help you through this.

Ok. I have that working now thank you very much.

However.

Now I just updated it and when i try to go to the cpanel it is showing up with cannot find page.

I assume this is just temporary.
Edit:
Ok.

I have fixed the cpanel now but it is still saying that the domain isn't the default and won't let me install my stuff or even show my index page.

Please help.

And a question. X10hosting only gives me i believe 10 domains i think. But my domain has 90 avaliable. do i still get limited by x10 or no?
Edit:
Also I have another question.

Since godaddy doesn't seem to have this and they are saying come to you guys.

cname settings. how do i do that.

I am using google apps and want to make subdomains that head off to my site.

any suggestions?
Edit:
I need these changed

Find the CNAME settings and enter the following as the CNAME value or alias:

calendar
calender.thefcacademy.com

start
start.thefcacademy.com

mail
mail.thefcacademy.com

docs
docs.thefcacademy.com
4.

Set the CNAME destination to the following address:

ghs.google.com
5.

can you guys do this for me.

and can anyone help me out and tell me why my site isn't loading when i have the files in already?

I might be missing the issue here but DNS takes about 24 to 48 hours to propagate. Try using your IP address with your account name (ipaddress/accountname/folderNameIfYouInstalledToAFolder/ , that should get you to your index, and open up your home page. Wait for 24 to 48 hours for the DNS (Domain Name Servers) servers to update and then you should have no problem with the domain name.

I do not know much at all about the adsense Cname php you have but if you want to set up an Alias look in your cPanel at the Domain icons there should be a Domain Alias there you could set up without having to actually editing any CNAME files. If I understood what your asking right, that should work.:happysad:
