basically, i purchased a CMS system I would like to use, however it requires some GD2 image library thing, and from what I understand only someone with access to server can install that, and I don't know how to check does x10 have that? if it doesnt cant I use it?

and also whats Apache Mod_Rewrite, it says that is required also but i really have no idea...

GD and mod_rewrite are running/active/enabled/available on the free servers.

I believe GD library is installed, as I certainly use some of its features on my site. My signature image is created dynamically by GD once an hour.

Mod_rewrite allows you to turn complex addresses into simple ones and create URLs for files that are in other locations.

so I don't have to do anything extra then to like, enable them in my site then correct? I was assuming/hoping that was the error causing my images not to show up, guess maybe not

Nope, it is on by default. Your image issues are probably another thing, do you have a link to your site?

yes, the link where i attempted to do a test install of it is http://teamryuzaki.com/cms/
, however the hosting seems to be down at the moment, but yeah im only having troubles with the images on that specific part of my site(where i installed the files), i didnt alter the folder structure or anything and followed the install instructions closely so im having a hard time pinpointing what it is, as well as not being able to connect!

Your page loads but the images are broken.
When I try to load an individual image, I get a 500 error.

teamryuzaki.com/cms/images/content_foot.gif

is one of them. Do you have an .htaccess file in the images directory that might be the problem? Did you turn on anti-hotlinking?

i dont have any .htaccess files within the image directory, however i do have anti hot linking on, only turned it on earlier today since it sounded sensible, i'll try turning it off and see how it goes, thanks for the help too :)
