I recently purchased the domain http://senzafineuk.com from http://www.names.co.uk and have successfully switched nameservers in my names.co.uk control panel to link my domain with my X10Hosting account. HOWEVER, since doing this all e-mails sent to @senzafineuk.com e-mail addresses have been getting returned, and from what I've been reading around this is linked to the change in nameservers.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to return my e-mail back to how it was with the names.co.uk default nameserver while keeping the X10Hosting nameserver...?

Thanks!
:)

Could you show me a screenshot of the MX records panel in cPanel?

Change your MX records from inside cPanel at x10hosting. Since you are pointing your name servers to x10hosting, the DNS changes at your domain registrar will not apply as the DNS server is at x10hosting.

Alternatively, you can point to x10hosting using an A record (69.175.104.34), which in turn will cause MX and other DNS at x10 to not function, however you will be able to use your domain registrar's DNS tools.

http://who.is/dns/senzafineuk.com/ shows no MX records.

EDIT: I said I couldn't find this, but I assume this big button that says "MX Records" is the one I'll be needing. If I knew how to use the embarrassed smiley on this forum, I would add one here.

So does this mean I could change my domain back to it's default nameservers with names.co.uk and just refer browser attempts to access http://senzafineuk.com and http://www.senzafineuk.com to my X10Hosting the same way it does just now by using an "A" record with that IP address you posted? If so then that would probably be a LOT easier.

Yes that is correct.

Yes in order to use your registrar's DNS tools, you need to set it back to the default name servers and use A record.

To point to x10hosting Chopin server: senzafineuk.com A record to 69.175.104.34 and www.senzafineuk.com CNAME to senzafineuk.com.
