Is it possible to change the domain name (Maybe Admins can do)
or do I have to register a new domain?

you can change the sub-domain name (wich i think is what you mean) at http://x10hosting.com/panel.php?modifyaccount

You can also switch from a subdomain to a domain by unchecking subdomain on that page..
