Hi, okay here goes, I have tlg.exofire.net set up here and putting in the URL in my browser it works fine, but trying to point my Domain name to this doesn't (www.tlg-clan.co.uk), it's pointing to a x10Hosting empty Index page - from this I gather I've set up my Domain end up right, it's pointing to you guys - although it did used to display a "congrats you've link to cPanel blah blah, so thought cool, DNS waiting to filter through. But after a few days I'm thinking I can't have put my files in the right place, put them in the www folder and they appear in publichtml folder as well... :dunno:

Sooooooooo, I can't see what's wrong here, maybe I'm getting old, but I can't figure it out, suggestions anyone - bet it's something obviously simple a five year old knows, but as I said I'm getting old...

Did you set the domain to our name servers and park it in cPanel?

Looking at that now, I can only set my domain to a web and mail DNS - which has worked in the past and never required to point to named servers before - I've tried parking it in cPanel, but got an error saying the DNS's doesn't point to you guys though (only setting up the web not the mail), thought the DNS to use was the one in Cpanel...

How do you have your domain pointed? CNAME, A record, some other type? :)

IP address only, being 74.86.133.24 which appears in the cPanel on the left - as I said changing the IP/DNS before has always worked...
Edit:
Okay I've tried parking the domain in cPanel and keep getting the IP is pointed to a different server than yours - so I'm missing something - what IP's do I need to use to point here? Perhaps I may have them wrong after all...

If you're using the IP the domain has to be parked or added in your cPanel. I'll make a change so you can add it. Please try adding it again.

I've resolved that issue now thanks - found the IP's on another thread and managed to park the domain no problem. So I have the "Great Success!" page up and going on about Apache working cPanel... So back to the original problem, clicking on my www.tlg-clan.co.uk domain doesn't lead to tlg.exofire.net, but the page I've just described. (click and see)

Sooooooooo, Have I put my web files in the wrong place or something or waiting for IP's/DNS's to resolve?

Oh and thanks for your time and patience here...

Works for me, try flushing your DNS and clearing your temp files.

Outstanding - sure works now in IE, shame I use Firefox, no worries I'll clean that up and get it going on there also - what a relief.

Many thanks Corey from an old fart like myself.

No problem, going to close this thread as the issue is resolved. Please re-open or create a new thread if you need further assistance.
