What do you mean, I'll enter the domain and it will go to my IP address everytime entered?

demosthenes705 - I wrote it in PureBasic just for time issues. I would have written it in C++ but i decided to try something i havn't programmed in in a while.

aaorozco - When you enter the domain name it will propagate it so you can veiw it on your computer so you don't have to wait for your ISP

can you say exactly what it does. I mean i can kinda program in VB and i've seen how easy it is to make key loggers. NOT THAT I AM ACUSING YOU. I was wondering if you can explain what it does.

It makes the correct changes to the necessary file in your system to allow you to view the site.

Go ahead and scan the hell out of it, it's clean.

Interesting, any reason why it runs after I close the program.

Uh, that's nothing amazing. It just creates two entries in the HOSTS file to point to the correct IP address. I've known about the HOSTS file for years.

For example, you can block a website in the HOSTS file like so:

www.google.com 127.0.0.1
google.com 127.0.0.1

Which would map Google.com to 127.0.0.1

Windows "reloads" the DNS crap from you ISP every few minutes I believe. The problem is with your ISP's not updating their DNS records.
