How can I get my paid domain to be the main domain for my x10hosting account?

Main domain? No.

But you can park it so that it points to the exact same content as your x10 provided main domain. You might have to adjust any links, CMS (Wordpress, Drupal), or forum software to let it know what your "site url" is.
