How do I change the domain name?
Will the database remain the same?

I just want to change the domain name..

I tried to change the domain at http://www.x10hosting.com/account
but couldn't as the 'Confirm Domain' button is not clickable..

If this method to change the domain is wrong..
Please tell me how to change the domain..

My current domain is - 9thgrade.x10hosting.com
I need to change it to - school-life.x10hosting.com :happysad:
I dont want to change the database plz..

Hi

Firstly, what we have in free hosting is not a pure domain, but a sub-domain account, i.e. your domain '9thgrade' is a subdomain of x10hosting.com.

Your domain name '9thgrade' is also your account name. What you are stating is trying to change the account name from '9thgrade' to 'school-life'... that's like creating a new account.

I do not know if that this kind of change is allowed under the free hosting service but you can try requesting for same.

I am not an expert in Databases, but I don't think it changes, just your web address is all that changed.
Please reopen this thread if you have any issues regarding the change of name.
