Why don't you use something like.... PHPOpenChat, I looks better than mini chat and it has alot more features.

It's nice, but I don't like it. I'd prefer something I've made myself (and besides, I've worked very hard on it).

Mini-Chat Updates:

• My really f'ed-up layout will let you to browse the site while chatting.
• Put in more // commands and made private messaging better.
• Took out a BUNCH of unneeded crap. It's now really easy to use.

You don't have to go to http://dchat.blogsite.org to get to the chat.
You can just go to http://deye.x10hosting.com and it comes up right after you go in.

It's unsuspened now.

I had to fix my file manager so I'm the only one who's allowed to use it to administrate my site.
I was originally using it for subhosting and an admin got mad.

• //remico -- remembers your avatar and automatically sets it next time you log in. use //remico off to disable it.

Still Working On...

• ...a better design. (Does anyone know a program for Linux that could help me with this?)
• Refresh without the flicker on IE.

New Features Added...

New Features:

• [beta] - PMs (whispers) are now separate from the chat room, and when you receive one, it should automatically open in a new window (not sure how this will work with popup-blocking software). If you get a PM (or a few) while you're not logged in, it should tell you the next time you log in.
  
• [beta] - Added dynamic updating so there is no flicker when new messages are posted.
• Everything is now one one page.
• See an avatar before you use it (to keep you from accidentally choosing something embarassing :coolugh:).

If anyone finds anything wrong or it won't act right, or you got an idea, tell me so I can try to fix it.
