i want to get a content manager for my site so should i use e107 or joomla or should i use 1 at all????

I personally like XOOPS, but e107 is good, too. I wouldn't recommend Joomla unless you are completely lost and want a ready-out-of-the-box site.

I also say go for Joomla. Though it is limited, but it is easy to use.

i prefer joomla!! i know it has certain limitations, but, it's good enough to have what i nead at least.

Choosing a CMS Depends on your needs. Why don't check out their features and plugins that are available. For me i use e107 it is easy to use.

Any reason why PHP-nuke or Drupal would be un-preferred? I'm not familiar with any of these content providers at all but those are the 2 (other than Joomla) that I've at least heard of.

Joomla is extremely limited and simplified. If you already know how to use a CMS, go for something more advanced.

I would use Joomla in most cases. However, there are some cases where e107 could be more helpful.
Use Joomla for CMS. Use e107 for community building (it is hard to integrate a forum in Joomla).

e107 is you need something really simple, joomla if you wanna go the flashy route.

Joomla and SMF get along rather well actually.

For me it is much better if we joomla but CMS is better Nuke-et safer for password changes there called "key" more dynamic and combined with "Ajax"
