Well have you tried looking at how much traffic you have come to your website. Because thats a big part of earning money. Is the content on your page interesting. And what kind of ads do you have on your site. Oh ya and what is your site about. Please give me your site name and i can help you out with it.

The placing of ads is very important.The ads must mach with the background color of your site and text too.
you have to place the ads at relevant places.

I'm pretty sure people need to actually click the ads, and I think Google as a target thing, before they payout.
