My problem is related to http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/3391-has-anybody-successfuly-put-up-eblah.html . It was closed, but I don't see any answer posted.

I'm trying to install eBlah and I've changed all the permissions on all the files and uploaded everything according to: http://www.blahdocs.com/Main_Page

I even changed the permissions on the folders to 777 for the time being, to make sure everything is in order. If someone could assist me as to why my perl scripts are not running, I would appreciate it.

I would also like to know if MD5 and GD mod are installed and if not, how might I go about getting them installed?

Thank you,
vol7ron

Edit:
The problem seems to be with with running any file in the /cgi-bin directory. I cannot open .html, .pl, or .cgi files.

Admin assistance requested.

You should upgrade your PHP version to "Intermediate" for your script to work correctly. You can request a PHP version upgrade at: http://x10hosting.com/account

All folders should be CHMODed to 755 and all files to 644.

After your PHP application is accepted it can take some time for it to update (aprox 6-24hs, depending on how many applications are pending). Post back after this time and tell us if your CMS is working or not.

All files and folders are CHMODed to 777 to avoid any permission questions.

Forgive me for sounding ignorant, but I don't understand why I would need to upgrade PHP if this is for Perl?

I'm going to close this one so we can handle all your perl issues in one thread. (I responded to your other one).
