Is there a way that I would be able to use cPanel to set up an autoreply email from my site that says that we have received the person's email and will check it soon/will help soon?

Some forum software has an acknowledgement feature that sends like a welcome email when someone joins. Would that work ??

In short - no - not from cPanel

Most CMS' programs can or have plugins - that can do it

If you Google on [ email contact form ] you can dig out a long list of form makers or form scripts for your Web site - that can do it
