Hey guys. I'm having a problem with email using mail.app on mac. I've read through some threads with similar issues dating back to 2005, but couldn't find a fix.
Each time I try to receive or send mail I get a dialog telling me

"Mail was unable to verify the identity of this server, which has a certificate issued to "absolut.x10hosting.com". The error was:
The root certificate for this server could not be verified."

When I view the certificate there it tells me that the certificate for absolut.x10hosting.com is "not in the trusted root database". I can just click continue and still receive and send mail, however when I do send mail it always ends up in the recipients Junk Mail. Are these two issues linked??

These are my account details:
Incoming mail server : mail.offtherecordproduction.com.au
User name: matt@offtherecordproduction.com.au
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): absolut.x10hosting.com (authenticated with user name and password, using port 465 and SSL)

Appreciate any help you fantastically helpful people can give me :)

Almost all mail that are sent through a regular e-mail and not from a script goes into the junk folder of others if they do not have you added as a contact.

Right, so the 2 aren't related. so what about the the certificate thing that pops up everytime telling me "You might be connecting to a computer that is pretending to be "mail.offtherecordproduction.com.au", and putting your confidential information at risk."

Not sure, however I do know it's a MacOS error.
